Say
Saying and combining words can be difficult. Whether your child struggles with finding words or pronouncing them correctly, I can help using a variety of visual and verbal supports with evidence-based treatments — including the Phonological Cycles Approach, Complexity Approach, Aided Language Input, and Language Recasting.
Play
Research supports play as the primary way young children learn about their world and the language to describe it. Knowing which words to say, which to repeat, and when to say them can feel overwhelming for parents. As a pediatric, Hanen-certified SLP, I can help you navigate this process confidently.
Express
Many parents tell me, "I want my child to speak." Speaking implies verbal communication — but I emphasize communicating. That means expressing needs and wants through words, gestures, signs, pictures, icons, or any combination of these. Every form of communication counts.

The acronym s.p.e.a/k/ is a play on the word "speak" and represents my core areas of focus in therapy. Communication starts with connection, and connection continues with communication. As a pediatric, Hanen-certified SLP, I can help you understand how your child communicates now, what motivates them, and how to create opportunities for communication within your daily routine.
