*1-1 Therapy Sessions
Schedule a free 15–30 minute call to discuss what your child and family needs, to learn more about my services, and figure out next steps and options.
Home- I primarily do house-visits. Home-based therapy is especially beneficial — it allows you, the caregiver(s), to learn how to apply the same strategies used in therapy, helping foster their child's communication development outside of session hours. It takes the “mystery” out of what is happening in your child’s sessions.
School/Daycare—If house-visits aren’t a feasible option, I can meet with your child at their school/daycare after fulfilling requirements and clearance procedures.
Telehealth—We can meet online to conduct a therapy or a caregiver training session
Office—My office is located in Sunnyvale, CA and may be an option depending on availability
Articulation Therapy
This is for children who need to work on speech sounds to help them say words and to speak confidently and be understood. Your child may need this if they’ve been diagnosed with a speech impairment, articulation disorder, phonological disorder, or hearing loss.
Auditory Training
This is for children who need specific therapy to develop their listening skills with their hearing device. Your child could benefit from this whether they are wearing hearing aids, cochlear implants, or a combination of the two. While doing so, I honor their chosen communication modality (whether it be sign language, oral language, or a combination of the two).
Language Therapy
This is for children who need support both understanding (receptive) and using (expressive) language to communicate with others. Therapy supports verbal language, multimodal language development, and AAC acquisition. I have experience working in early intervention (0-3 years) up to elementary school age settings.
AAC Exploration
If you are interested in exploring Alternative and Augmentative communication (AAC) for your child, this can be embedded in language therapy sessions. We can explore options together. If your child is already using an AAC device, therapy can help improve navigation within the device and increase confidence with daily use.
Neuroaffirming Care
I aim to provide therapy through a neuroaffirming-care perspective. People that receive diagnoses of Autism, ADHD, and other neurological differences have unique neurodivergent profiles that deserve to be celebrated! I focus on using individuals’ strengths to support skills and build new ones rather than “fixing” the deficits.
Caregiver Training
I am both certified Hanen®(opens in new tab)-certified and Learn with Less®(opens in new tab)- certified SLP and can host classes in the aforementioned programs. Click the links to learn more about what each program entails.
Play and Communication
Learning does not always involve paperwork and iPad apps! Through play-based activities, your child can develop communication and social skills that are both functional and meaningful for them. Playtime has natural opportunities for adults to communicate with children, to expand acquired skills, and model new ones. I help caregivers identify these opportunities and to structure play with what they already have at home. Play is my favorite way to teach and learn!
